OCTOBER 14 EXECUTION DATE SET FOR RICHARD COOEY
On July 11, 2008, the Ohio Supreme Court set an execution date for Cooey. Although there are several pending lawsuits regarding the consitutionality of Ohio's lethal injection, this is considered a real date. If you have a couple minutes, please contact Governor Strickland at (614) 466-9354-and express your concern over Ohio's death penalty, that Ohio should not go forward with the execution of Richard Cooey, and that we need to stop executions altogether!! More information about Cooey here. - pdf
