Sign the Petition for a Moratorium on Executions - Currently, a Taskforce convened by Ohio's Supreme Court Justice, Maureen O'Connor, is reviewing Ohio's system of capital punishment.  The Joint Task Force should be allowed to operate without the undue pressure of ongoing executions. There are currently 11 Ohio death row inmates with execution dates.

Ohio reenacted the death penalty in 1981 and began executing again in 1999.  Since 1999, there have been 47 executions in Ohio.  The death row population is 147 and is located in Chillicothe, OH and Marysville, OH.  There are currently 11 scheduled executions, from June, 2012 thru January, 2014.
