February 1st starting at 10:00am we will take a tour starting with a view of how a clean stream in eastern KY should look and the readings that you should get from all streams. Then we will take a tour of a mountaintop removal site and see the readings from that local stream that runs from Eastern KY to the Ohio River and eventually all the way into the Gulf of Mexico.February 2nd through the 13th we will travel by foot over 150 miles from the coal fields of Eastern KY to the capitol of KY Frankfort. We will cover between 13 and 17 miles a day for 12 days with a rest day in the Red River Gorge.February 14th we will join with KFTC and people from all over the world to march on the capitol building to let KY legislation know we want an end to MTR, a clean environment for our future generations and good clean renewable jobs.
