Description: A group of local Cincinnatians interested in the issue of the death penalty and in ending executions in the State of Ohio. We are an affiliate of the statewide OTSE, working to support a repeal bill. This work includes an abolition campaign, a speakers bureau, film screenings, petition-gathering, media monitoring, writing letters to the editors, and grassroots organizing efforts. IJPC participates in the statewide Ohio team which helps direct the statewide strategy of Ohioans to Stop Executions and supports local implementation of the plan to support legislation within the Ohio legislature that supports alternatives to the death penalty.
