Grassroots Organizing and the Catholic Faith

Description: Participants will wrestle with what it takes to create systemic change
while remaining spiritually rooted in peace and love.
This training in grassroots organizing and Catholic and Franciscan values is being offered by
Franciscan Action Network (FAN) for leaders in the AMOS Project and any other people of
faith seeking to act for justice. FAN works with groups, including the PICO National Network, to
increase Catholic participation in community organizing and to more fully integrate faith values
into powerful action for justice.
The cost for the training is $15, which includes lunch.
