Join Amy Waldman for a reading from her novel, The Submission, and a discussion on how 9/11 has changed the fabric of the country. Waldman's book explores how 9/11 has challenged our convictions on what it means to be American. The event is part of "On the Same Page," an annual community reading project organized by the Cincinnati Public Library.

Amy Waldman was a city desk reporter for The New York Times on 9/11.  She covered the response to the attack, both in the city and later as co-bureau chief for South Asia.

The event is free and open to the public.
