This is a brand new organization formed from the informal association of independent media that held the 2003 Independent Media Expo

The Independent Press Association (IPA) - a cooperative members association of more than 400 independent publications. Members include Utne Reader, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, the Nation and XRay Magazine. Only $150 annually to join for small press.

Clamor Magazine and Allied Media Projects - Northern Ohio's premier clearinghouse for independent media

The Allied Press Sydicate - An independent newswire. Mainly features advocacy, activist journalism. Free to join.

The Association of Alternative Newsweeklies - A members association for alt weeklies. Members include the Village Voice, CityBeat and many others.
