Dialogue at Occupy Cincinnati Rescheduled for Saturday, Oct 22 from 2-3pm at Piatt Park
We are seeing a massive awakening taking place in our world that is releasing a deep voice against systems that no longer serve and in fact are destructive whether they are governments and political systems, economies with spiraling cost of living, education, etc. IJPC invites you to join us at Occupy Cincinnati to hear the voices from different parts of the movement. Is this a “Psychic Break:” a moment when the dominant narrative unravels and there is an opening for a new story to take hold on a massive scale?
This will be a time for personal reflection and collective exploration of the important issues of our time. The conversation will have the potential to expand our ideas about what is possible; it's about dialogue and engagement; about sharing your thoughts and really listening to others. We encourage everyone with an interest in civic discourse to participate – we all have something valuable to contribute. IJPC dialogues are based on the idea that we are wiser together than we are alone; that together we have the answers to the issues that concern us. We believe that every voice is necessary for the re-imagining of a better future. Let yours be heard! Dialogue at Occupy Cincinnati Rescheduled for Saturday, Oct 22 from 2-3pm at Piatt Park

Can the #Occupy Movement Be a Turning Point?
At smartMeme, we have always been interested in “Psychic Breaks:” moments when the dominant narrative unravels and there is an opening for a new story to take hold on a massive scale. We saw this opportunity come and go in 2008 when the stock market collapsed and $700 billion was given to financial giants. . .
But we believe that #OccupyWallStreet is re-opening that window and provoking another such psychic break moment, one that can amplify common sense progressive demands for structural change. At least we hope so. . . http://www.yesmagazine.org/people-power/can-the-occupy-movement-be-a-turning-point
